Affiliated Functions
Are you planning an event during the AAP’s 106th Annual Meeting, Oct. 31- Nov. 3, 2020, in Honolulu, Hawaii? If you would like to hold a reception, dinner, or business meeting during the Annual Meeting, please contact the AAP Meetings Services Department at [email protected], even if your event is to be held prior to Saturday, Oct. 31. 2020.
Your event can be assigned to either Hawaii Convention Center, Hilton Hawaiian Village (headquarters hotel) or Ala Moana Hotel. Rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Assignments for event space will be made based on the date the Academy receives your completed request form (forwarded upon receipt of your email request). The majority of alumni functions traditionally occur on Monday, but can be scheduled for any meeting day provided they are not held opposite an AAP-sponsored event. Therefore, assignments for affiliate events will not be assigned until after July 1 to give alumni groups initial access.
No function can be held opposite an AAP-sponsored event and therefore must be scheduled only during the following program-free hours:
Friday, Oct. 30
8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
5 p.m. – midnight
Saturday, Oct. 31
7 p.m. – midnight
Sunday, Nov. 1
6:30 p.m. – midnight
Monday, Nov. 2
4 p.m. – midnight
Tuesday, Nov. 3
3 p.m. – midnight
